Welcome to Mondejar Architecture Studio® (MAS), an award winning RIBA chartered practice which specialises in projects, internationally, for people with special needs by designing for disability, driven by our personal experience and strong passion for social awareness through good accessible, inclusive and sustainable design.

Operating from the UK, Spain, and Cyprus, our belief is that designers have an incredible power over shaping daily lives, influencing how we interact with our cities, how we communicate with one another, how we work in offices, and learn in schools. We strongly feel that we have an obligation to design for everyone, and the sad fact is that not enough attention has been paid into designing accessible, inclusive and sustainable environments which are suited to everyone’s special needs.

At MAS, we strive for social value, collaborating with different community groups and working together to solve problems spatially through projects that will contribute to making our cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable, with ethical outcomes beyond the UN’s 17 goals for 2030.

With over 1 billion people globally experiencing some form of disability, equating to 1 in 7 people, and this figure expected to drastically rise, we aim to raise awareness and turn the standard “four walls” into specialised designs that cater for each person’s special needs and thus improve the running of their daily lives.

We aim to be pro-active as opposed to re-active to the climate change issue through our development and integration of innovative sustainable solutions and eco-friendly materials into everyone’s four walls, thus contributing to a greener and cleaner future for all.

Mondejar Architecture Studio® is registered in England and Wales with company number 12135964 and is a RIBA Chartered Practice with number 20035614.
