William Mondejar                 Marianna Demetriou                Mikey Mondejar

Architect Director and co-founder of MAS, bi-lingual and bicultural in English and Spanish, William is an ARB RIBA COAM qualified architect with PgDip, M.Arch and BA (Hons) degrees in architecture from the University of Brighton, UK, in 2019, 2016, and 2011 respectively.

During his studies, William was nominated for the prestigious RIBA President’s Medal Awards in 2016, received the Perkins + Will Thesis Prize Commendation Certificate in 2016, and won first prize in the UBI Architecture Competition, chosen to be built by the CIATB, in Portugal 2010.

William has gained valuable experience as an architectural assistant at; EKKY STUDIO Architects in Nicosia, Cyprus; Fernando Menis Architecture in Tenerife, Spain; RISE Design Studio in London, UK; Andrés Jaque / Office for Political Innovation in Madrid, Spain; and Daniel Statham Architects in Madrid, Spain.

His portfolio of work ranges from theoretical, experimental design and interventions, to high-end residential new-builds, refurbishments, and renovations, to urban planning and large-scale public infrastructure in countries including; China, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Mexico, Portugal, Spain, UK, and USA.

William has a great passion for architecture, especially accessible, inclusive and sustainable design, empowered by his personal experience of living and working with disabled people. His goal is to improve the daily running of everyone’s lives through the design of better places.
